SpenBand


	We are the Spen Valley Scout & Guide Band, we are all members of the Scout & Guide movement from Spen Valley, West Yorkshire. We are a Marching Band made up of Woodwind and Brass instruments as well as Tuned Percussion and Drums. We play and march in a Traditional Military Style and play a whole range of different types of music
Over the years we have played for the Queen at Windsor, performed along side Mickey Mouse at Euro Disney, marched in the Calgary Stampede parade in Canada and played in front of thousands of scouts from around the world at the Scout Jamboree. The band plays annually in the Birmingham International Tattoo, at the National Indoor Arena and attends a summer camp where they are instructed by HM Royal Marines. Other events include camps, bowling, ice skating and many more fun activities.
